This large garden was designed for the use by a community of adults with special needs and their caregivers. It was to provide a rich fabric of sense impressions: seasonal colour, textures, sound and smells. The site is situated on a south-facing slope overlooking Zippori valley in the Galillee region of Israel. The garden was divided into several elevations which were seperated by natural stone terraces and connected by paved paths. The aim was to create a variety of different areas with distinct characters and functions:

- a mediterranean herb garden

- a rose garden with gazebo

- an extended lawn area for community festivals

- a water course with a large pond

- mediterranean flower beds

The garden was created by the artist with the participation of the Beit Elisha community.
